Pay it Forward

About a month ago I won a Pay it Forward from Debbie Quirion. I won this adorable purse! Isn't it soooo cute, I just love it! Debbie came out for the CQI retreat and brought me another one, it had dragonflies. I don't have a picture of it because when my good friend saw it she fell in love with it so it went home with her. But don't worry Debbie it's in good hands!
Here are the rules for the Pay it Forward, if you want to get in on it you must commit to Pay it Forward. It can be something you make or something you put together like a squishy.
You have a month to a month and a half to send it on.
So if you want to join the pay it forward please leave a comment on my blog and on October 3rd I'll have my mother pick a number and whoever has that number from the comment postings will win the Pinkeeper and the Bridal Motif. I will announce the winner Saturday October 4th.
Thank you for visiting my blog!

For the Pay it Forward I made this.

I decided to make a pinkeeper for my commitment to keep the pay it forward going.

I fell in love with this silkie so I used on the block and then took colors out of the silkie for the rest of the block.

I wanted the pins to be a little fancy so some I used black alcohol inks and painted them, others I painted glue on and then rolled them in very fine gold glitter and others I glued a rose montee on.

I was going to cq the back but then I found some fabric that matched her chair so I used that instead.

The winner will also receive this.

The winner of the Pay it Forward will also receive this beautiful Bridal Motif that the Pinkeeper had it's picture taken on. It is 12"x 12" you can cut it up anyway you want to go into your cq blocks.

Debbie gave everyone a CD!

Debbie Q is new to cq and she didn't think she had cq things to give everyone so she gave everyone a CD of Christmas music. It's an instrumental with lots of flute.

I did listen to and it enjoyed it, thank you Debbie!

The only problem I had is it made me want to get out my Christmas stuff!

I do have a little Reindeer that I keep on my wireless router that my neighbor had made and I fell in love with. Anyway we both enjoyed the Christmas music Debbie, lol.

Thank you!

Here's the chair

Here's the love seat.

Everyone loved my furniture!

When everyone came in my house the first thing they noticed was my Victorian furniture. I just love it and can't believe it is mine! lol.
You will never guess where I found this gorgeous furniture. The Craigs list!
I had been looking for new furniture and wanted something that looked Victorian. My daughter and niece have found some wonderful things on the Craigs list so I thought I would take a look. There was a post that said Victorian sofa, love seat and chair there were no pictures and the post had been up for 5 days already and I honestly thought that by now it was probably sold but I picked up the phone and called and said, you probably still don't have the furniture do you? The lady said that because she wasn't able to post pics she really didn't get any calls, so I got it! Yipeeee!

Cathy handed me a bag of fabric!

After Gerry K gave me the gorgeous pincushion and Gerry H gave me the beautiful scissor fob the next person to handed me something was Cathy she gave me a big bag of fabrics that she was kind enough to dash to get at the stash dash at Leslie's.

Aren't the fabrics beautiful!

Scissor Fob from Gerry Hookstra

Gerry H handed me a little purple organza bag with a beautiful scissors fob and a tiny little bottle of fairy dust, which is supposed to give you good luck!

Thank you Gerry!

Here's a view of the top

Thank you so much Gerry I just love it!

My Beautiful Pincushion from Gerry K

Colorado CQI Retreat

I was able to meet several ladies at the cqi retreat. I offered to have a barbecue I don't know why because I'm really not all that good with barbeque cooking, I do much better with the stove or oven, lol. I have a small house and can't fit a lot of people and it was in Sept so a barbeque jumped into my mind.
Gerry K made me this beautiful pincushion. It's so Victorian and I just love it. I'm going to keep it on my end table and when I'm sitting watching tv and stitching I might put one pin or two in it, lol. It's so beautiful I don't want to make holes in it but Gerry insists that I use it!
